THE OFFERING
A hat was passed around a church congregation to take up an offering for the
visiting minister. Presently it was returned to him...embarrassingly empty.
Slowly the parson inverted the hat and shook it meaningfully. Then raising
his eyes heavenward, he exclaimed, "I thank you, Lord, that I got my hat back
from this congregation."

Have you ever noticed that they put advertisements in with your bills now?
Like bills aren't distasteful enough, they have to stuff junk mail in there
with them. I get back at them. I put garbage in with my check when I mail it
in. Coffee grinds, banana peels... I write, "Could you throw this away for
me? Thank You." - Andy Rooney

KEN A HORA: A gleeful rejoice which means "Thank God". Usually used when
Jewish parents find out their children aren't going to marry that poor,
unemployed gentile. - Stan Kegel* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
