Theodor
Geisel's (a.k.a. Dr. Seuss) Birthday
"A person's a person, no matter how small!" Theodor Geisel, a.k.a. Dr. Seuss,
would say. "Children want the same things we want. To laugh, to be
challenged, to be entertained, and delighted." Brilliant, playful, and always
respectful of children, Dr. Seuss charmed his way into the consciousness of
four generations of youngsters and parents. In the process, he helped kids
learn to read. Geisel was born in Springfield, MA and died September 24,
1991.

HOW DID IT GET SO LATE SO SOON?
How did it get so late so soon?
It's night before
it's afternoon.
December is here before it's June.
My goodness how the
time has flewn.
How did it get so late so soon?

YOU DECIDE
You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You're on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go.

"Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is
Youer than You." - Dr Seuss
